The range of "Shoghakn" products

The precious stones, including diamonds in the rough have shapeless look, they seem to be muddy, have shaggy surface. Usually they don't have clarity and play of colour and don't remind sparkling shiny gems which we used to see in earrings, rings and other artistic wares delighting us so much.
All the operations of processing the precious stones are pretty, hard and complicated and a workman has to have not only experience and aesthetic taste but also professional knowledge and necessary equipment.
In "Shoghakn" CJSC, only natural rough diamonds are cut.
In order to multilaterally manifest and demonstrate the latent worthiness of gems and present them to the customers to the best advantage, "Shoghakn" craftsmen do not confine themselves to one or two kinds of diamond cuts.
In "Shoghakn" they make use of following kinds of diamonds processing:
1. "Round" - has 57 facets, contains area and upper and inferior parts. Upper part contains 32 facets, inferior - 24.
According to the classic method upper and inferior parts are separated with narrow girdle, which is faceted too. This makes the play of colours as well as the shine of cut diamonds richer.
The most clear and large rough diamonds are cut to "Excellent" and "Very Good" quality gems.
If the usual "Round" gem comes to 1, the "Excellent" and "Very Good" gems form 0.5.
The quality and size of cut diamonds are controlled with connected to computer unique equipment that magnifies images of gems up to 40 times which lightens the work much.
2. "Fantasy" - includes the following diamond cuts:

"Princess"

"Oval"

"Marquise"

"Heart"

"Pear"

"Baguette" etc.
