In "Shoghakn" CJSC the proper attention is paid to quality of production control and in-process losses.
In order to escape alike problems, "Shoghakn" has acquired special laser equipment allowing rough diamonds cutting in the beginning of the processing cycle. This method significantly decreases in-process losses.
The laser equipment is connected to computers through which the whole process is controlled. When necessary, the program can be changed making it possible to fit the wishful shape, reduce in-process losses and facilitate both the modeling of "Fantasy" cuts as well as further processing of "Round" diamonds.
For "Round" diamonds up-to-date automatic rounding machine is used, which grinds one stone by means of the other so by the end both are rounded and ready for further processing. This method of rounding gives an opportunity to see on the screen 100 times enlarged image of the gems and control the process from scratch to the end.
The use of the abovementioned equipment increases the quality of cut diamonds and allows to refuse classically used disc method.
To give an optimal diameter and facet the precious stones at "Shoghakn" automatic up-to-date machines are used which enable to get a few time higher precision of processing, technology and at the same time cut in-process losses.
